National Home Show: Restore, Refresh, Renew Your Home

Whether you’re a new homeowner, someone thinking about upgrading your abode, or someone dealing with a troublesome home repair, the National Home Show on now at the Direct Energy Centre will have the answers or new ideas that you’re looking for.

In this annual home improvement, renovation, and repair event, over 700 exhibitors are present to showcase products and services such as contracting services, kitchen and bath, paints and painting, insulation, alarm systems, heating and cooling, water systems, glasswork, furniture, and many others. For fans of HGTV and other home-related shows, this event is also a chance to see celebrity guests such as Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan, Karl Lohnes, Olympic medalist Clara Hughes, and Dee Brun the Cocktail Deeva take to the main stage to share their expertise on fixing and improving your home.

In addition to the exhibitors and the celebrities, there are a few other notable events worth checking out in the National Home Show:

  • The Boulevard of Dreams, featuring model homes from PolygHome and Quality Homes, the Ryobi Man Cave and landscaping and outdoor living displays.
  • Renovation workshops to teach attendees how to DIY home improvements and repairs.
  • A chance to ask interior designers your design queries at What’s Your Design Dilemma?

Be ready to set aside three to four hours in order to see everything in the show! The National Home Show is on till February 27 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place

Directions

By car: Head to Lakeshore Blvd W., between Bathurst St. and Dufferin St. Parking at the metered lots, as opposed to attendant booth lots, is recommended.

By GO Train: exit at the Exhibition stop.

By TTC: take the 511 streetcar from Bathurst Station or the 509 from Union Station.

Tuesday-Friday: 11a.m.-9p.m.
Sunday: 10a.m.-6a.m.
